Men are often stoic creatures. Living selflessly for our wives and girlfriends, making sure they get the best treatment possible in life (no? You don’t think so? 
.
But just because we give give give, doesn’t mean we don’t like to receive either.
If you find a guy lucky enough for you to want to keep …tell him what you like about him and why.
Recognition is the key to the long term success of relationships, life, work ….basically you name it!
Look at it job-wise …if your boss stops to tell you you’ve done a great job and you are invaluable to the company, it changes the way you think about your job. You could make less then others but still feel grateful because you have such a good boss and place to work.
A relationship is the same.
The longer you are in a relationship (or longer you are at a job), the easier it becomes to dwell on petty things and make a big deal about nothing. I encourage you to recognize the good now and then, and voice it. Your bond will strengthen tenfold.
Don’t overuse compliments though …If you compliment your guy too much, they will be weak and sound meaningless. But whether it’s physical or mental, noticing the small things and voicing them can go a long way.
Keep those relationships sizzling …
